The following factors could affect Italian markets on Tuesday.

    COMPANIES
    
    UNICREDIT  CRDI.MI  
    The bank said on Monday it was "well above" MREL
requirements set by the Single Resolution Board (SRB) and the
Bank of Italy, with MREL eligible liabilities equal to 32.8% of
risk-weighed assets (RWA) in Q1, versus a requirement of 27.3%.

    FINCANTIERI  FCT.MI 
    The shipbuilder's shares closed down 1.74% on Monday after
its chairman Claudio Graziani was found dead.
    
    LEONARDO  LDOF.MI 
    The defence and aerospace group's shares closed up 2.88% on
Monday after announcing it had won 13 European Defence Fund
(EDF) programmes in consortium with others.
    
    BPER BANCA  EMII.MI  
    Morningstar DBRS lifted on Monday its trend on the lender to
"positive" from "stable", and confirmed its long-term issuer
rating at "BBB".
    
    M&A, ITA AIRWAYS
    Lufthansa  LHAG.DE  boosted concessions to soothe
competition concerns over long-haul flights to help it win over
EU regulators in its bid for a stake in Italy's ITA Airways,
three people with direct knowledge of the matter said on Monday.
