European Parliament leaders reached agreement on Wednesday
on the composition of the next European Commission, including
Italy's Raffaele Fitto, clearing the way for the new EU
executive to take office next month.
DEBT
Treasury announces sale of BTP Short and BTPei bonds, with
relative amounts to be auctioned on Nov. 26.
COMPANIES
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The automaker on Wednesday announced new temporary stoppages
at two of its plants in southern Italy, while the Rome
government called on the company to commit to new investments in
the country.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
Telco lobby Asstel is urging a review of regulations for
low-earth orbit satellite broadband operators such as Starlink
to ensure they face the same rules as other telecoms companies,
including on data security, a document seen by Reuters shows.
MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE MFEB.MI
Nine-month profit grew by 38.7% year-on-year, the net
financial position improved by around 200 million euros compared
to the end of last year and shareholders were rewarded with a
dividend of around 140 million, CEO Pier Silvio Berlusconi said
on Wednesday, on the eve of the publication of full results.

BANCA MONTE DEI PASCHI DI SIENA (MPS) BMPS.MI
The bank said investors from Britain and Ireland took 49% of
a six-year senior bond it sold on Wednesday for 750 million
euros, meeting demand worth 2.4 billion. Italy accounted for
30%, France for 9%, Germany Austria and Switzerland for 5%.
As of Nov. 13, according to a filing, Italy's economy
ministry held a stake of 11.7%; Banco BPM BAMI.MI of 5.003%;
Anima Holding ANIM.MI of 3.992%; businessman Francesco Gaetano
Caltagirone of 4.972%; the Delvecchio family holding Delfin of
3.509%.
