The benchmark S&P 500 index hit a fresh record high on Thursday after a blowout
revenue forecast from AI darling Nvidia boosted investor confidence in the
sector and sparked a rally in growth and technology stocks.  .N 
 
    At 1355 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 402.73 points, or
1.04%, at 39,014.97, the S&P 500  .SPX  was up 99.37 points, or 1.99%, at
5,081.17, and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was up 445.59 points, or 2.86%, at
16,026.46.
