MILAN, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Europe's largest gas distributor Italgas IG.MI said on Thursday it would invest 16.5 billion euros ($19 billion) in the next seven years as it focuses on the integration of recently acquired rival 2i Rete Gas and the modernisation of its network.
Italgas, which will detail its new strategy later on Thursday, also reported 36% growth year-on-year in nine-month core earnings.
