** Telecom manufacturing co ITI Ltd ITEL.NS rises 4.43% to 253 rupees

** Co commences work for a network operations center in Himachal Pradesh state, part of BharatNet project, which will provide broadband internet to remote areas

** Total project value, which involves work in two more regions, at 50.5 billion rupees ($583.5 million)

** With session's gains, stock trims 12-month decline to 6%
