Rheinmetall looks to invest in naval business, says CEO

BERLIN, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Rheinmetall RHMG.DE is in talks with partners about making investments in the naval business and can hopefully announce more details in the coming weeks, the defence company's CEO, Armin Papperger, told analysts on Thursday. "We think we are able to create really a big business also on the naval side, and we will make investments," he said during a call with analysts to discuss second-quarter results. "This is at the moment our target on the naval side, to invest in this area to enlarge our product portfolio."
