    ISTAT releases July industrial output data (0800 GMT) and
monthly bulletin on the state of the economy in August (0900
GMT).

    Exclusive talks between UniCredit and the Treasury over MPS
have been extended by "at least a month", la Repubblica
reported. UniCredit is not budging from its decision to take on
only MPS' branches in the centre-north and has no intention to
pay for the MPS brand which has a book value of 500 million
euros, the paper said. 
        
    ITALGAS  IG.MI 
    Greek privatisation agency HRADF has named Italgas as
preferred bidder in a tender for the sale of state-controlled
gas distribution network DEPA Infrastructure, it said on

    Fintech group ION has succeeded in its bid to gain control
of Italian credit management and data group Cerved, data from

    The buyout offer launched by shareholder Marbles, the
vehicle controlled by Spanish fund Asterion, has been extended

    The Italian broadcaster's domestic advertising sales are
above pre-Covid levels, having surpassed in the first nine
months of 2021 the figure for the corresponding period of 2019,
