April 16 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite hit intraday record highs before retreating on Thursday as investors weighed the latest developments in the Middle East conflict alongside a wave of earnings reports. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.02% at 48,453.43. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.15% at 7,033.21, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.16% at 24,053.27.
