** Women's apparel retailer J.Jill's JILL.N shares up about 3% at $3.29

** Co posts Q2 adj. EPS of 81 cents, beating analysts' estimates of 77 cents, according to data compiled by LSEG

** Reports Q2 net sales of $154 mln, vs. estimates of $151.3 mln

** JILL says sales trends improved sequentially each month, driven by improved traffic and positive customer response to the summer sale period

** However, expects about $5 mln of incremental cost impact from tariffs in Q3

** YTD, the stock has fallen ~40%, including session moves
