J Sainsbury plc (the 'Company') - Voting rights and capital
Further to the announcement released on 1 October 2014 at 13.56 under RNS Number 1733T pursuant to the Disclosure and Transparency Rules regarding the Company's issued share capital, the Company today restates the number of ordinary shares of 284/7pence with voting rights in issue at 30 September 2014 to be 1,913,987,719. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in J Sainsbury plc was 1,913,987,719.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, J Sainsbury plc under the Rules.
