Feb 10 (Reuters) - Transeastern Power Trust  TEP_u.V : 
 * Announces proposed acquisitions of hydro renewable energy projects 
 * Says entered into a letter of intent for the proposed acquisition of three 
   operational hydro projects totaling 3.65 mw 
 * Says purchase price of the hydro projects is C$7.5 million calculated on a 
   debt free basis 
 * Purchase price is payable as to 50% in cash and the remaining 50% in units of 
   trust at deemed issuance price of C$1.00 per unit
