Nov 26 (Reuters) - Jagran Prakashan Ltd  JAGP.NS : 
 * SEBI passed ad-interim ex-parte order for impounding alleged unlawful gains 
   of about INR 1 million against co's compliance officer 
 * Amount of alleged unlawful gain is wrongly reported by media as INR 104.1 
   million which may be ignored

Jagran Prakashan Limited has informed the Exchange that Securities and Exchange Board of India has passed an ad-interim ex-parte order for impounding an alleged unlawful gains (subject to the adjudication of the allegation on the merits in final order) of Rs. 10.41 lakhs (Ten lakh forty one thousand only) against the company secretary/compliance officer and his wife for certain trades in the script of the company in the year 2009. The said order is dated November 20, 2015 which has come to the company's notice on November 25, 2015. The amount of alleged unlawful gain is wrongly reported by media as Rs. 10.41 crores which may be ignored.
