Notification of Major Holdings
On the 13(th) February 2024, James Fisher and Sons plc (the "Company") was
informed by The Sir John Fisher Foundation (the "Foundation") that, on the
12(th) February 2024, the Foundation sold 891,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence
each in the Company ("Shares"). Following this transaction, the Foundation now
holds approximately 10.6 million Shares, representing approximately 20.99% of
the Company's Issued Share Capital.
The Foundation said:
"The Foundation has been a shareholder since receiving Shares by way of
settlement from Sir John Fisher in various grants starting in 1979 and has not
previously divested of any Shares, funding its charitable commitments from
dividend proceeds. The Foundation has a number of charitable commitments, and
this share sale provides the liquidity to allow the Trust to continue to
deliver its charitable objectives for at least the next two years.
The Foundation remains a supportive and long-term shareholder in the Company."
