Victory Capital submits $57 per share rival bid for Janus Henderson
Feb 26 (Reuters) - Victory Capital VCTR.O said on Thursday it has offered to buy peer Janus Henderson JHG.N for $57.04 per share, months after the asset manager unveiled a $7.4 billion deal with Nelson Peltz's Trian and VC firm General Catalyst. Shares of Janus Henderson rose nearly 6% before the bell, while Victory Capital VCTR.O fell 6% with light volumes. Victory Capital has offered 0.350 of its shares and $30 in cash for each Janus Henderson share held.
