** Shares of Janux Therapeutics JANXO.O surge 90.3% to
$28.74 premarket
** Co reports positive data from dose escalation portion of
early-stage trial on therapy to treat advanced prostate cancer
** JANX007 reduced PSA levels in majority of 23 dosed
patients, with deeper reductions observed at higher doses
** PSA is a protein produced by the prostate gland and used
as a biomarker to diagnose and follow prostate cancer
** Janus says immune system over-response was mild and
temporary, and was quickly managed with treatment
** Brokerage TD Cowen sees JANX007 as having clear
multi-billion-dollar potential
** Up to last close, stock had gained nearly 41% YTD
