Update on Sentiance
AAA, the technology holding company, provides the following update on its key investment, Sentiance N.V. ('Sentiance'), the AI-native behavioural intelligence platform.
Sentiance
Sentiance's predictive AI technology provides on-device privacy-first, real-time insights about how people move, drive, and live. Its business-to-business-to-consumer platform creates digital twins that analyse and create valuable data and understanding about how people behave.
In 2025, Sentiance processed over 6.5 billion kilometres of driving data from its clients in the insurance industry and gig economy. This data has continued to grow month-on-month into 2026. Monthly Active Users grew by over 400% over the last 36 months. Today, Sentiance powers safety and engagement for clients across six industries on three continents, with deployments spanning every major transport modality, from passenger cars and motorcycles to e-bikes, e-scooters, and three-wheelers.
Commercial developments
Client momentum from 2025 has continued into 2026, with growth from extensions of existing contracts and new contract wins providing market and geographic diversification. Recent wins and contract renewals include:
· Tokio Marine: multiple programmes signed across Japan, with Amazon Flex Japan at an advanced contracting stage and a 20+ deal portfolio in development covering McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Japan Post and others.
· Toyota: new commercial agreement with Toyota Motor Asia.
· Delivery Hero: continued expansion across the portfolio, growing further with other delivery and gig-economy brands including Domino's (a three-year extension), Toters, Breadfast, JustEatTakeAway and DriveU.
· Entered the Personal Injury Industry in the US with a new partner ClaimAngel.
Sentiance currently has over 37 enterprise clients. The global pipeline of proof of concepts, contracting, scaling existing clients and new clients continues to grow.
Technology
Underpinning this commercial progress is a platform built on mature, proprietary predictive AI models, and deep-learning neural networks. This 'on-device' or 'edge' architecture runs full inference directly on the smartphone at a fraction of the alternative solution cost. No raw personal data needs to leave the device, which becomes an increasingly strong competitive advantage as global privacy regulation tightens.
What sets Sentiance's technology apart is the depth of user intelligence, which is built on ground-truth data and modelling experience accumulated over a decade of live production deployments and more than 22 billion kilometres of mobility data processed to date. A growing AI layer sits on top of this foundation, adding higher-order reasoning and personalised intelligence, combining the efficiency of edge processing with the depth of modern AI. This combined architecture continues to be a key competitive advantage for Sentiance.
Where traditional telematics providers focus solely on driving behaviour, Sentiance builds a rich profile of each user, including mobility patterns, transport behaviour, daily routines, and lifestyle context.
The large majority of clients now use 'on device' processing, and it is anticipated that by the end of 2026 all clients will be 'on device' only. 'On device' processing offers privacy, data protection, latency and efficiency advantages as well as a structural answer to the ongoing global environmental backlash against the roll-out and energy consumption of data centres
Other technological advances include:
· The development of a new AI-powered Crash Forensics layer, where large language models confirm suspected crashes and generate context-rich summaries. This early proof point for the broader work underway on Sentiance's Unified Data Layer underscores how Sentiance Insights will serve as the foundation for a next generation of highly personalised insights and engagement experiences for end users.
· Continued advances in the core 'on device' stack, including a retrained transport classifier, updated crash detection models for cars and motorcycles, and a new driver Attention Score that quantifies distraction risk from phone use.
· Significant investment in AI-augmented internal tooling that has materially improved product development velocity and customer on-boarding times.
In 2025 Sentiance won the Ride Hailing Innovation of the Year award at the AutoTech Breakthrough Awards.
Management
In 2025, Sentiance welcomed Marijan Mumdziev as its Chief Executive Officer. Marijan had previously founded and then sold Amodo, his insuretech company, to Cambridge Mobile Telematics ('CMT'). He then left his role as Head of CMT Europe to join Sentiance.
Marijan brings tremendous experience and knowledge within the sector and has already made a significant impact by improving operations and streamlining processes to take advantage of Sentiance's strong deal pipeline.
Simon Vanderheyden also joined in 2025 - as Finance Director. Simon brings a strong foundation in investment banking and M&A, complemented by extensive operating experience as a CFO in rapidly scaling environments. His international profile and operational track record are a key addition to the leadership team, as Sentiance positions itself for its next phase of growth.
The future
Whilst the gig economy and insurance clients form the majority of revenue to date, Sentiance's patented digital twin analysis has applications across many other sectors. Lifestyle, healthcare, public sector and sustainability continue to be explored as significant potential new revenue streams for Sentiance.
Sentiance's leading technology and its applications have enabled it to secure a number of new high-profile global clients and its reputation continues to grow. This has created additional opportunities which Sentiance is determined to capture.
Further updates will be provided as Sentiance continues to make commercial progress through 2026 and beyond.
