Publication of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
 
                                                                                                   
Further to the announcement made on 26 March 2018 (the "Announcement"), JD Sports is pleased to announce that a circular (the "Circular") in relation to the proposed acquisition of The Finish Line, Inc. (the "Acquisition") has been approved by the UK Listing Authority.
 
The Acquisition is subject to, among other things, the approval of JD Sports' shareholders. Accordingly, the Circular contains a notice convening a General Meeting which is to be held at Hollinsbrook Way, Pilsworth, Bury, Lancashire, BL9 8RR at 9.00 a.m. on 15 June 2018 at which a resolution will be proposed for the JD Sports shareholders to approve the Acquisition (the "Notice of General Meeting").
 
The Circular and Notice of General Meeting has been submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority's National Storage Mechanism (the "NSM") and will be available for inspection on the NSM's website at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.
 
The Circular and Notice of General Meeting will also be available for viewing on JD Sports' website at www.jdplc.com and will today be posted to JD Sports' shareholders.
