DIRECTORATE APPOINTMENT

 

JD Sports Fashion Plc ('JD' or 'Group'), the leading global sports-fashion
retailer, today announces that Ian Dyson will be appointed as a Non-Executive
Director, with effect from 9 March 2023. Ian will join the Audit and Risk
Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

Ian Dyson is currently Chair of the Board at Currys plc and has a strong track
record across consumer facing industries and public company boards. He was
Chairman and before that Senior Independent Director at ASOS plc, Senior
Independent Director at Flutter Entertainment plc and a non-executive director
of Intercontinental Hotels Group plc and SSP Group plc. During his executive
career, he was  Group Finance and Operations director of Marks & Spencer
Group plc, Chief Executive of Punch Taverns plc and Group Finance Director of
Rank Group plc.
