Result of General Meeting

JD Sports Fashion plc ("Company") announces that, at its General Meeting held
earlier today, the resolution to sub-divide each of its ordinary shares of
0.25 pence into five ordinary shares of 0.05 pence was duly passed.

The result of the resolution is set out below:

It is expected that dealings in the new ordinary shares of 0.05 pence each
("New Ordinary Shares") will commence at 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday 30 November 2021
(the "Effective Time") with the ISIN code GB00BM8Q5M07.

Immediately following the Effective Time, there will be 5,158,135,745 New
Ordinary Shares allotted, called up and fully paid in issue, all with voting
rights. The Company will hold no New Ordinary Shares in treasury.

From the Effective Time, the figure of 5,158,135,745 may be used by
shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in
their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and
Transparency Rules.

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.2R, a copy of the resolution passed at the
General Meeting has also been submitted to the FCA via the National Storage
Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at
