    * Says co's optoelectronics unit plans to issue 13 million 
to 20 
million new shares for working capital replenishment, with par 
value of T$10 per share and issue price at T$18 per share 
    * 10 percent of the new shares to be offered to employees 
and 90 
percent to be offered to the existing shareholders
