Wall Street's main stock indexes were on course for a subdued opening on
Thursday as investors parsed a mixed batch of economic data for clues on when
the Federal Reserve would deliver its first interest-rate cut. .N
At 10:37 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.42% at
38,583.82. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.14% at 5,007.51 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was down 0.22% at 15,823.998.
