Wall Street's main stock indexes were on course for a subdued opening on
Thursday as investors parsed a mixed batch of economic data for clues on when
the Federal Reserve would deliver its first interest-rate cut. .N
At 13:34 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.69% at
38,688.06. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.51% at 5,025.94 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.25% at 15,898.207.
