China's Jiangsu Recbio jumps after saying comparative COVID vaccine study shows positive results

** Shares of Chinese vaccine developer Jiangsu Recbio
Technology Co Ltd  2179.HK  jump as much as 25.6% to HK$28.20,
their highest since April 4
    ** Jiangsu-based co says superior results were achieved on
comparative study of its booster vaccination of recombinant
two-component COVID-19 vaccine ReCOV vs. international
mainstream mRNA vaccines
    ** Says results showed that neutralizing antibody titer
levels against Omicron BA.5 and BA.2 and prototype strain
induced by sequential vaccination of ReCOV were significantly
better than those of the mRNA vaccine group
    ** Says submitting product commercialisation applications to
China's regulatory authorities on a rolling basis
    ** The Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  rises
1.4% and the healthcare index  .HSCIH  gains 0.2%
    ** The Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  and the Hang Seng
Index  .HSI  both climb 0.7%
