** Shares of Jin Air 272450.KS , a budget airline and an
affiliate of Korean Air Lines 003490.KS , rise as much as 15%
** South Korea's transport ministry said on Tuesday it will
lift sanctions on Jin Air over its new routes and new aircraft
** The sanctions were imposed on Jin Air in August 2018
after its executive and founding-family member Emily Cho
resigned in light of public backlash over her outburst
** Jin Air says it is "fortunate" that the sanctions were
removed at a time when the airline industry is in an
"unprecedented crisis" of coping with the coronavirus pandemic
** The benchmark KOSPI market .KS11 was trading up 1.6%
