** Steel Authority of India shares  SAIL.NS  rise as much as
7% to 150.65 rupees, their highest since May 2021; last up 5.7%
    ** Co on Monday said it saw its highest-ever annual
production and sales in FY24
    ** Co also flagged increasing demand in steel market
    ** China's manufacturing activity expanded for first time in
six months in March, bolstering confidence in top consumer
    ** SAIL among top gainers after National Aluminium C
 NALU.NS , Jindal Stainless  JIST.NS , rising 20% YTD vs 8%
gains in Nifty metals index  .NIFTYMET
