The Swedish compressor and mining gear maker is nearing a
sale of its Dynapac road construction unit due to weak
development of profitability and low return on capital employed,
Swedish business daily Dagens Industri reported late on

A deal for Dynapac, which Atlas Copco bought from private
equity firm Altor for 6.3 billion Swedish crowns ($687.4
million) in 2007, could be done during the first quarter of 2017
and could result in a capital loss for Atlas Copco, according to
the newspaper.
An Atlas Copco spokesman declined to comment to Reuters.

The rig firm has received a three year contract extension
from Saudi Aramco for jack-up AOD III expiring in December 2019
