Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Kirsty Homer to the Board
as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2023. With
extensive strategic HR and people management experience, in the UK and
internationally, Kirsty is a valuable addition to the JSG Board. Kirsty will
also be appointed as a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination
Committees.

Kirsty is a highly experienced HR practitioner who, until 31 December 2022,
served as Group HR Director for the Howden Joinery Group Plc group of
companies ("Howdens"), the UK's leading trade kitchen and joinery supplier and
current constituent of the FTSE 250 index, which employs over 10,000 people
and operates over 850 sites across the UK and Europe. Prior to her role at
Howdens, Kirsty served as Global People & Governance Director for the
Mothercare Plc group of companies during its turnaround phase and restructure,
helping to transform the business into a successful global franchisor. Kirsty
has also held senior HR roles at Waitrose and John Lewis before being
appointed Personnel Director there in 2013.

Set out in the appendix below are the disclosures required in accordance with
Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies for Kirsty Rowena Homer (née
Johnson), aged 48. The Group confirms that there are no other disclosures to
be made pursuant to Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies with respect
to Kirsty Homer.

Kirsty Homer was a director of a number of subsidiaries of Mothercare plc
whilst it went through a restructuring programme. Kirsty was a director of
Mothercare UK Limited and Childrens World Limited which both sought to enter
into company voluntary arrangements in May 2018. Mothercare UK Limited
subsequently appointed administrators in November 2019. Kirsty resigned as a
director of Mothercare UK Limited on 29 May 2020. Childrens World Limited
appointed administrators in July 2018.

Kirsty was also a director of Mothercare Business Services Limited, which
appointed administrators in November 2019. Kirsty resigned as a director of
Mothercare Business Services Limited on 28 March 2019.
