The Company announces today it has purchased the following number of its
ordinary shares of 10 pence each through Investec Bank plc.

Ordinary Shares:

 Lowest price per share (pence):          100.8
 Highest price per share (pence):         103.6
 Weighted average price per day (pence):  102.1404

 

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.

 

Following the above transaction, the Company's issued share capital consists
of 437,679,840 ordinary shares of 10 pence each with voting rights.
