The Company announces today it has purchased the following number of its
ordinary shares of 10 pence each through Investec Bank plc.

Ordinary Shares:

 Lowest price per share (pence):          108.6
 Highest price per share (pence):         110.8
 Weighted average price per day (pence):  109.6747

 

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.

 

Following the above transaction, the Company's issued share capital consists
of 436,996,269 ordinary shares of 10 pence each with voting rights.
