The Company announces today it has purchased the following number of its
ordinary shares of 10 pence each through Investec Bank plc.

Ordinary Shares:

 Number of ordinary shares purchased:     284,427
 Lowest price per share (pence):          113.4
 Highest price per share (pence):         117
 Weighted average price per day (pence):  115.9923

 

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.

 

Following the above transaction, the Company's issued share capital consists
of 435,181,677 ordinary shares of 10 pence each with voting rights.
