Appointment of Independent Non-executive Director
Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), a leading supplier of information systems, software
and services to transport operators and local authorities is pleased to
announce the appointment of Barnaby (Barney) Kent as an independent
non-executive director, with immediate effect.
Prior to its $1.3 billion acquisition by a London-based private equity firm in
2022, Barney Kent spent nearly a decade at Ideagen plc, a software company
supplying regulatory, compliance and collaboration solutions to over 10,000
organisations around the world. In his role as COO, Barney led Ideagen to
unprecedented growth and financial delivery. Barney has more than 20 years'
experience within the technology sector and was previously CEO of Plumtree
Group prior to joining Ideagen. Barney is a non-executive director of Sopheon
plc, an AIM quoted software company. He has a BSc (Hons) from the University
of Southampton and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School.
