£1.1 m purchase order from Cardiff Council
Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), a leading provider of information systems and
technical services to transport operators and local authorities is pleased to
announce a £1.1m purchase order for the provision, installation and
maintenance of high-definition real time passenger information displays from
Cardiff Council.
This purchase order builds upon the £1m award to replace legacy 3-line LED
displays announced 28 March 2023.
This new purchase order will see Journeo replace the remaining legacy displays
within the City of Cardiff with Journeo's latest Thin Film Transistor (TFT)
LCD displays, bringing enhanced levels of real time departure, disruption and
supplementary information to bus passengers in Wales. The new displays will
connect to the Welsh Bus Data Content Management System (WBDCMS), a nationwide
platform to manage the content of transport displays, also managed by Journeo.
