Malaysia-based Mindtell Technology jumps on Hong Kong debut

** Shares of information technology provider Mindtell
Technology Ltd  8611.HK  rise as much as 54.8 pct above its IPO
price on the first day of trading to HK$0.96 per share, riding
up on broader market strength
    ** Its shares later trim gains to HK$0.87 in late afternoon
trade, still up 40.3 pct from its IPO price of HK$0.62 each 
    ** The Malaysia-based IT firm offered 117 million shares in
its IPO to raise capital to strengthen its technical team and
buy equipment for building infrastructure to provide cloud

    ** The Hang Seng sub-index tracking information technology
firms  .HSCIIT  climbs 3.4 pct
    ** The Hong Kong benchmark index  .HSI  rises 2.2 pct
