ZURICH, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Julius Baer said on Wednesday it had appointed Jean Nabaa to become the Swiss private bank's new Chief Operating Officer from April 13, replacing Nic Dreckmann, who served as interim chief executive of the firm in 2024.
Nabaa, a Swiss national, will join Julius Baer BAER.S from HSBC HSBA.L, where he was most recently COO for International Wealth and Premier Banking and COO for Global Private Banking, the bank said in a statement.
Separately, Cindy Leggett-Flynn will join the bank as head of group communications in January 2026, it said.
Dreckmann, who has been at the Swiss wealth manager for over two decades, would leave Julius Baer by summer 2026 after an orderly transition, the bank said.
