MOVES-Swiss bank Julius Baer taps Nira Tanoko to drive Southeast Asia growth SINGAPORE, July 30 (Reuters) - Julius Baer BAER.S said on Thursday it has appointed Nira Tanoko as market head for Southeast Asia, as the Swiss wealth manager seeks to expand its presence in the region.

Tanoko will join on November 2 and be based in Singapore, reporting to Jimmy Lee, regional head Asia, the bank said in a statement.
She joins from Bank of Singapore, where she was head of the Indonesia market. Tanoko has more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, Julius Baer said.
In her new role, she will oversee teams serving wealthy clients in key Southeast Asian markets and help strengthen the bank's client franchise and talent pool in the region.
Julius Baer said Asia is its second home market and remains a key growth driver.
