May 11 (Reuters) - K+S SDFGn.DE reported revenue above market expectations for the first quarter on Monday, as the German potash and salt miner benefited from higher demand for de-icing salt and higher potash prices.
The Hessian-based company's revenue was 1.06 billion euros ($1.25 billion) between January and March, slightly above analysts' expectations that saw it at 1.04 billion euros according to a consensus poll by Vara Research.
