KalVista Pharma rises as genetic disorder drug succeeds in late-stage study

** Shares of KalVista Pharmaceuticals  KALV.O  rise 15.2% to
$18.48 premarket  
    ** Co says its experimental drug to treat a rare genetic
disorder helped relieve symptoms significantly faster than
placebo, when tested in a late-stage study   
    ** The drug, sebetralstat, is being developed to treat
hereditary angioedema, characterized by recurrent episodes of
severe swelling in the limbs, face, intestinal tract, and airway
  
    ** Sebetralstat was tested in 136 adult and adolescent
patients with HAE - KALV
    ** Co plans to submit a marketing application to FDA in H1 
    ** Up to last close, stock has more than doubled in last 12
months
