Japan's Kansai Elec 6-mo net profit flat y/y
TOKYO, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Japan's top nuclear power operator, Kansai Electric Power Co 9503.T, posted on Thursday six-month net profit of 233 billion yen ($1.55 billion) for the period ending in September, roughly flat with the year-earlier period. Kansai Electric forecast net profit for the fiscal year ending in March at 360 billion yen, down 14% on the year.
