Kontron rises on order for EV charging stations
** Shares in Austrian IoT technology provider Kontron
KTN.VI are up 2.4% after it gets an order for smart wallboxes
from an unnamed EV maker
** Kontron says it will supply one of the world's largest
carmakers with smart charging stations for EVs
** Production is set to begin in July 2024, with the first
stage of the contract worth at least 200 mln euros ($217 mln)
** The order relies on Kontron's acquisition of Katek
KTEK.H earlier this year that includes charging systems
producer eSystems
** Investor sentiment regarding the order is "positive at
least", a local trader comments
