Monsanto India surges after top court allows parent to claim GM cotton patents

** Shares of Monsanto India Ltd  MNSN.NS  climb as much as
13.4 pct to 2,917 rupees, their highest since Sept. 26
    ** India's Supreme Court allowed U.S. seed maker Monsanto to
claim patents on its genetically modified cotton seeds in the
world's biggest producer of the fibre, according to a company
