Brief: KCI plans to consolidate its shares

Oct 13 (Reuters) - KCI SA  KCI.WA : 
    * Said on Wednesday that it submitted motion to Polish 
National Securities Depository (KDPW) for retirement of 16 own 
shares  
    * Said that the procedure of retirement of own shares is 
first step of the company's shares consolidation 
    * Plans to consolidate its shares at the ratio of 28 
existing shares to 1 new share 
    * Said the trading suspension of its shares will be from 
Oct. 25 to Nov. 7 and trading will be resumed after 
consolidation on Nov. 8
