** Kernex Microsystems KMIL.NS rises 5% to 1,104 rupees

** Kernex-KEC International KECL.NS consortium gets letter of acceptance from Western Railways at bid cost of 1.51 bln rupees ($17.35 million)

** Kernex says it holds 70% stake in JV with KEC International KECL.NS

** KEC shares nearly flat at 832 rupees

** Total Kavach (indigeneous automatic train protection system) orders from April 2024 to date now stand at 31.36 bln rupees

** YTD, KMIL down 15%, while KECL sheds 30.5%
