Keppel surpasses 2026 interim funds target early as FUM tops $77.36 billion July 28 (Reuters) - Singapore's Keppel KPLM.SI said on Tuesday it has topped its interim target to achieve S$100 billion ($77.36 billion) in funds under management by the end of 2026, after adding to its infrastructure, real estate and connectivity private funds.
The global asset manager and operator said it has added about S$13.5 billion in FUM so far this year across those funds.
The company did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment on its current funds under management.
Here are some details:
The company received S$7.8 billion in new capital commitments from global limited partners across Aermont Fund VI, Keppel Education Asset Fund II, and other funds.
Keppel said it has leveraged investor interest in digital infrastructure, cloud computing, and AI, while its data center expertise and infrastructure funds have become key drivers for fundraising.
To date, Keppel's private infrastructure strategies have secured S$7.7 billion in equity commitments, providing the group with a war chest to target an acquisition pipeline of more than S$22 billion, the company said.
Keppel first announced the target in 2023 when it unveiled a goal to manage $150 billion in assets by 2030.
Keppel's shares rose as much as 3.3% to S$11.72 as of 0541 GMT, their strongest level since April 23.
