       July 11 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1950 GMT on
Thursday:
    
    ** Vivendi  VIV.PA  is exploring a spin-off and potential
London listing for its Canal+ TV unit, Bloomberg reported,
sending the French media conglomerate's shares sharply higher in

    ** German billionaire Mathias Döpfner and private equity
group KKR  KKR.N  are negotiating a break-up of media
conglomerate Axel Springer, the Financial Times reported, citing

    ** Oil producers Chevron Corp  CVX.N  and Hess Corp  HES.N 
expect the U.S. Federal Trade Commission will review their
proposed merger in the third quarter, the companies said in a

Capital said they have made an offer for Martin Midstream

stake in Five9  FIVN.O  and is urging the U.S. call center
software company to consider a sale, people familiar with the

finals, the Athletic reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
