Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

       June 28 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on Friday:
     
  
        ** China's Tianqi Lithium  002466.SZ  has asked Chile's
financial regulator to reconsider its decision about the
SQM-Codelco lithium deal not needing shareholder approval,
newspaper La Tercera reported.

        ** BBVA's  BBVA.MC  chairman said the bank had "no need"
to improve its hostile bid for rival Sabadell  SABE.MC , as he
vowed to push ahead with the deal despite political opposition
and regulatory uncertainty.

        ** Brazilian restaurant chain operator Zamp  ZAMP3.SA 
is in advanced talks to buy the rights to operate the Subway
brand in the South American country, local newspaper O Globo

        ** Buyout fund Cinven has agreed to buy a 70% stake in
Idealista from Swedish rival EQT  EQTAB.ST  and others in a deal
that values it at 2.9 billion euros ($3.10 billion), the Spanish

    ** Spanish holding company Criteria said  it raised its
stake in telecom giant Telefonica  TEF.MC  to 9.99%, almost
matching the stake the Spanish government recently bought in the

    ** Citadel will buy Japanese power firm Energy Grid in its
first acquisition in Japan and the first major U.S. investment
in Japan's wholesale energy market in recent years, billionaire

    ** Australia  gave the go-ahead for ANZ Group's  ANZ.AX
