London-listed Keywords Studios rises on $2.8 bln EQT deal

** Shares of Dublin-based video game services firm Keyword
Studios KWS.L up 2.9% at 2,384 pence
** Co agrees to a 2.2 bln pound ($2.79 bln) takeover
proposal from a private equity firm EQT EQTAB.ST
** The deal represents a 66.7% premium to KWS' last close on
May 17, prior to the initiation of the offer period
** "The Board believes that this offer represents a good
opportunity for Keywords Studios shareholders to realise value
for their investment in cash upfront at a significant premium to
the undisturbed share price," - Chair Don Robert
** As of last close, stock up 39.5% YTD
