U.S. stocks extended gains on Wednesday, as fresh inflation data supported views
that the Federal Reserve may be done with raising interest rates, while Target
surged on an upbeat holiday-quarter forecast.  .N

34,985.74. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.25% at 4,507.03 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.16% at 14,116.934.
