NZ's Kathmandu Holdings falls most in 2 months on COVID-19 pain

** Travel equipment retailer Kathmandu Holdings  KMD.NZ 
falls as much as 3.2% to NZ$1.52, its worst intraday drop since
Sept. 9
    ** Says COVID-19 lockdowns significantly impacted
first-quarter results; overall same-store sales fell 17.6% in
October quarter
    ** Expects Q1 operating profit to be NZ$35 mln ($24.90 mln)
lower than last year
    ** Trading expected to improve with growth opportunity in H2
FY22 as virus restrictions ease - KMD
    ** Hits lowest since Oct. 12; third biggest percentage loser
in the S&P/NZX 50 index  .NZ50 
    ** KMD up 22.7% this year, as of last close, vs a 0.4% drop
in the S&P/NZX 50 index
