July 6 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose on Monday as chip stocks rebounded, with Broadcom advancing after extending its partnership with Apple, while investors looked ahead to the start of the second-quarter earnings season. .N
     
At 13:31 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.05% at 52,929.62. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.66% at 7,532.84, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.11% at 26,119.55.
