Komerční banka decreases its stake in Bankovní identita, as planned
 
Prague, 12 April 2021 - Komerční banka, a.s., having its registered office at Na Příkopě 33/969, 114 07 Prague 1, Identification Number 45317054, entered in the Commercial Register maintained with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, File No. 1360 (hereinafter Komerční banka), announces that
 
on 12 April 2021, Komerční banka has sold a 16.33% share on the registered capital in the joint venture Bankovní identita, a.s., having its registered office at Smrčkova 2485/4, Prague 8 - Libeň, Company Identification Number (IČ) 095 13 817 (hereinafter referred to as "Bankovní identita"). Following the transaction, Komerční banka holds 17% share in Bankovní identita.
 
The business of Bankovní identita is providing electronic identification and electronic signature services in the Czech Republic based upon the digital identities of bank clients. The company offers its services to public institutions as well as to private companies providing digital services. Shareholding of Bankovní identita has been expanded in accordance with the company's strategy to provide its services through majority of all Czech banks.
 
The transaction is not subject to further regulatory approvals. Upon settlement of this transaction and related transactions executed by other shareholders, Bankovní identita will have the following shareholders: Komerční banka; Česká spořitelna, a.s.; and Československá obchodní banka, a.s. as founding shareholders, and Air Bank a.s.; Equa bank a.s.; Fio banka, a.s.; mBank S.A., organizační složka; MONETA Money Bank, a.s.; Raiffeisenbank a.s.; and UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s.
